These are some of the kind words that I’ve received recently as testimonials from Race Advisor Pro members.
Reading them, you may believe that there’s crazy horse racing magic going on behind closed doors.
And you may be right!
But it’s almost certainly not what you think it is.
Why Do Some Bettors Always Win And Others Always Lose?
You know that person who always seems to be walking away with cash from the on-course bookie?
Or, as we’re currently not allowed to visit the race course, there’s always a story of the person who is picking up the big wins. The person who makes their living from betting. The person who seems to make a lot of profit from very little work.
We’ve all heard the stories.
We’ve all read the websites of tipsters who claim to be able to generate us a full time income from just ten minutes a day following their horse racing tips.
And if you’re anything like me, you’ll have bought into a few of them, only to be disappointed.
Every time that happens to you, a little bit more disappointment adds to the pile, and more doubt creeps in. Eventually the doubt becomes large enough that you begin to wonder whether it’s possible to make long-term profits from betting on horse racing.
This changes your perspective.
It changes how you think.
It changes your expectations.
And it changes how you approach your horse racing!
But here’s the good news…
There’s nothing different between horse racing bettors that make a long term profit and you.
Is It Horse Racing Secret Magic?
In the middle of the forest, deep in the dank swamp lands is a small band of renegade magicians.
They huddle around their fire, throwing ingredients with unpronounceable names into a large pot, delicately balanced on the burning logs.
This enclave is where successful bettors live.
It’s their home, and they don’t let anybody in.
Luckily for us, this isn’t the case.
I like my share of adventure and travel. But I’m not really into secret groups meeting in the middle of dank swamps!
But it’s how I think of lot of bettors perceive successful betting. That it’s some kind of secret society, one that you have to be invited to join in because otherwise you’ll never find the invisible door.
It’s a myth that continues to be perpetuated by marketers, because it’s advantageous for them to make bettors think you need to be a part of a special group to be able to win.
The reality is different.
There’s no special group.
There’s no magic.
There’s no invitation you need to be come successful.
To achieve success in horse racing you need three things:
- Yourself (to do the work)
- Belief in yourself to succeed
- A mentor
The mentor pushes you in the right direction, helps you analyse your results, makes suggestions on where you should focus and what you need to improve.
But the magic is actually you.
Oh, and this secret as well…
The Secret Magic REVEALED
*deep breath* *deep breath* *deep breath*
I hope you’re ready.
I’m about to pull back the curtain on what it is that makes successful bettors succesful.
I’m going to let you enter the magic circle.
I’m going to invite you to the secret group.
Prepare yourself…
…
…
…
The two things you need to do to be a successful bettor are:
- Practice
- Adapt
Seriously?!
Yes. Seriously!
As I was saying, there’s no magic.
Unless you consider a bit of hard work magic.
You’ve got to put in the time to practice.
And you’ve got to adapt based on the results of your practice.
If you do that, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that you’ll succeed.
But most bettors fall at the first hurdle…
You’ve got to put in time to practice
There’s a fallacy that successful horse racing betting doesn’t require (a) practice or (b) time.
The dream perpetuated by tipsters that you can wake up, spend ten minutes placing your bets, and then count your winnings each day is…
…hokum on the largest scale.
If you disagree with me, please let me know which tipster you’ve been using continuously, for the last three or more years, that has provided you a profit every single day.
Because I’d love to join their service!
To be successful you have to put in the work. You can’t get someone else to do it for you. That’s like asking someone to do your PhD for you and wondering why you can’t do your job based on it.
To win at horse racing you have to…
- Understand your own risk levels, emotions, time available, bankroll and requirements.
- Understand why the method you are using works to have confidence in it.
And you MUST have both of these things. Just one is not enough. If you don’t understand how you react to betting, then you won’t be able to choose a strategy to start with that is going to suit you.
If you don’t practice and adapt that strategy to suit you, then you won’t fully understand why and how it works and you won’t have the confidence to keep using it when you’re in the middle of a three month downswing.
Practice. Adapt. Practice. Adapt.
Do that, and you will get the results you want.
Do that with a mentor, and you’ll get the results you want 10x faster.
