Grand National 2022!

The Grand National is in the books for yet another year.

The 2020 edition of the famous horse race was won by Minella Times, as the Irish-bred horse outran 39 other competitors. The 2021 Grand National was a historic one, as jockey Rachel Blackmore became the first woman to win the race.

Winning trainer, Henry de Bromhead, also continued a strong streak, which saw his horses win the Champion Chase, Champion Hurdle and Cheltenham Gold Cup. Bromhead could take Minella Times back to Aintree next spring for yet another go at winning the esteemed Grand National race.

All eyes are now turned to the 2022 Grand National and another glorious horse racing event. Bettors can stay up-to-date with all the news and information for the 2022 Grand National in the build-up to the race.

Will fans be allowed at the 2022 Grand National?

It hasn’t been confirmed, but with the way things are slowly returning to “normal”, there is a good chance race fans will be allowed at the 2022 Grand National. The sale of tickets and packages for next year’s festival is a positive sign.

It is claimed that tickets are going fast and that some enclosures have already sold out! The desire for fans to get back out and enjoy a race festival is part of the driving force behind fast ticket sales. Since football is already welcoming a limited number of fans back to major matches, we are all hopeful that the Grand National could see something similar.
