Big race trends and going allowance uncovered inside…

What an end to the week it has been! Changes in going have been causing some upsets across the tracks, and my article this week on the blog has proven to be published at just the right time.

This weeks article is all about going allowance. Have you ever heard of that phrase before?

It is something that has to be calculated when working out speed figures, and is crucial in determining how fast a horse ran a race. But, the big question that I am asked is, why do different websites have different allowances?

If you have never looked at going allowances, but wondered how different websites have different speed figures for horses, then the answer to your question is…

available for you to read right here!

At 3.45pm today there is a big race at Sandown called the Coral Eclipse. Members of our Big Race Trends have already received all the details for this race.

For example did you know that in this race…

> Favourites have won 4 out of 10 of them but made a loss to bet to.

Or…

> 7 of the last 10 winners ran in Royal Ascot last time out.

If you would like to know all the trends for this race then head over here before 1pm.

It is just a quick email this week as I am collecting a family member from hospital. Hopefully I will be back for the evening racing!

All the best,

Michael
