Betting system reviews, the key to value and more…

There is always plenty of racing to look forward to on Saturdays, which is great. Sadly, today I won’t be able to watch this afternoon’s racing as I am visiting some elderly relatives but, I do hope to be back in time to watch some of this evenings racing.

Thank you to everyone who added their votes to the survey we were running on the blog last week. I have now closed it and the final results are in.

Racing Statistics, Racing Trends and Betting System Reviews all received an equal amount of votes with 17% each. This was followed closely by more articles and race reviews from myself. I was very pleased to see that you find them valuable.

Having listened to what you want, I am already working on getting betting system reviews available on the site. Your Shout will turn into a betting system review area where we will not only test systems and tipsters but you will also be able to tell us what you think of them as well.

I think that it is important to have a very strict set of criteria for producing a review rating so that every system is judged under the same criteria. This means it is going to take a little longer to get up and running (a couple more weeks) because I like to make sure that everything is done to the very highest standard, so…

…I won’t just be throwing up some reviews and getting my team to monitor them. But, I will…

> Provide a complete set of criteria that we will be rating on
> Show the individual ratings and the overall rating
> Provide a complete break down of results (not just profit/loss)
> When the proofing has finished, provide a summary based on our criteria

That way, you will be able to make a complete assessment as to whether a system is for you or not!

I have continued my series on finding value this week with the maths behind it. Understanding the maths is key to being a value bettor and if you have wondered how this works then you can find out here (it’s not complicated I promise).

Until next week,

Michael

Michael started the Race Advisor in 2009 to help bettors become long-term profitable. After writing hundreds of articles I started to build software that contained my personal ratings. The Race Advisor has more factors for UK horse racing than any other site, and we pride ourselves on creating tools and strategies that are unique, and allow you to make a long-term profit without the need for tipsters.
