Whaat… this happened today!

I thought we’d try something new this evening, something that, if it’s popular, we’ll continue to do regularly.

Every day we’re watching the news for the latest information on horse racing out there. We just like to keep up to date with what’s going on in the world of our favourite sport.

So, we’d thought we’d share with you one of the most important stories each day, when there is actually an important story 🙂

Today, Sam Twiston-Davies could be out of action for up to a month according to trainer Paul Nicholls.

Speaking with www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk, Nicholls described the injury as a “big blow” for the jockey and suggested that he may be out until the Open meeting at Cheltenham in November.

Whaaaat!

It all happened at Chepstow on Sunday, when Twiston-Davies was left with spleen problems following a fall on One More Go’s. Very sadly, this also resulted in the horse being fatally injured.

Twiston-Davies was said to be “fed up” during an update given by the jockey’s father on Monday night.

So far this season, he’s delivered 70 winners and is only 12 victories behind defending champion Richard Johnson!

The Race Advisor would like to wish him all of the best and for a speedy recovery.

P.S – On a more positive note, Profit Recall keeps firing in the winners, with the top rated horses winning at 12/1, 6/1, 7/4, 6/4, 3/1 and 8/1 yesterday.
