We started proofing Tams Racing Tips on the 10th October 2014, and up until writing have proofed 202 selections.

Selections are provided every day and so far have been back bets at varying odds.

This review will be done to ISP and BSP to 1 point level stakes and will be compared to the tipsters advised staking plan and odds.

All selections are provided in the members area 7 days a week usually by 12:30hrs the day of racing.

Tams Racing Tips also advises a 100 point starting bank and you will receive on average 1 – 4 advised selections per day.

The results in this review are correct at time of writing but we will continue to proof Tams racing Tips here… Tams Racing Tips Results.

So let’s get onto the figures for the proofing period, I will go through the figures to ISP, BSP to level stakes and I will also look at the figures to advised stakes and prices.

Firstly I will go through ISP.

As always we start with the 1 point level stakes graph which in general tells us from the outset if any service will make us any profit because as a rule if we can break even at ISP then there is a good chance of profit to what is advised.

So as you can see this service so in the four months of proofing has yet to secure any profit to ISP but also has not really threatened the 100 point bank with its lowest point being around the -16 point mark in November. It’s worth noting that the strike rate is very good.

Not a great start to the service but certainly not a disaster.

We can see that when we turn to the services performance with their advised stakes we gain nearly 50 points profit.

Primarily this has been gained since the first part of December, which would indicate the bets which are larger, and thus have more confidence, are winning more often than bets with less confidence and a lower stake. This is a good indication that the tipster is aware of his selections.

Okay, let’s move onto the BSP figures and see how it performs.

As you can see from above, using Betfair SP odds does not do much better than using ISP. However, this time the service is slightly in profit over the proofing period, and once again the bank hasn’t been at risk with such a high strike rate.

When we switch to using advised stakes with BSP, we again see an upturn in the fortunes of the service. However, the services ROI is only 1% more favourable than ISP. There is a 7 point gain in profit, which is worth having, but the biggest difference in both instances is the advised staking.

Flat Stakes and Advised odds

The above graph showing the selections to advised odds and flat stakes goes to confirm that it’s the staking that’s really making the difference with this service. And this is once again proved when we look at the results to advised stakes and advised odds…

To be honest, I was expecting this to have the greatest improvement.

Because the service makes the selections available only a couple of hours before racing, there isn’t much value in the odds. However this is almost certainly what is accounting for the high strike rate. As long as the strike rate remains at this level then you can bet these selections to ISP and still come away with a decent profit.

Now, of course, as always we want to know if there’s a good profit to be made. To assess this I’ve made some charts below using the results from advised stakes:

Well, as you can see above, this service is definitely making a profit. Tams Racing Tips has made money over the four month proofing period so far.

Using BSP you can make a bit more of a profit than ISP, and so it makes sense to use Betfair to place your bets.

On The Pro Betting Club website, the claim is that Tams racing Tips has made a 325.60 points profit since May 2014. I can’t confirm or deny this as we will only base a review on the results of our independent proofing. However, if it did make 325 points profit since May, then the results prior to our proofing would have to be significantly better than what we’ve seen so far.

That’s not to say that what they’ve produced in our proofing isn’t good. Any service that can produce a profit to ISP is doing very well. But, I will make a point of coming back to this service again in the future to see how it’s progressing.

If the service can keep up the very good strike rate and even possibly improve the ROI slightly then this could definitely be one to have in your portfolio.

Although some months have made a loss, the service has averaged 14.05 points profit over the four month proofing period and should definitely be considered seriously.
