NEXT UP… Derby Secrets (Free Inside Today’s Email)…

Well, the Bank Holiday is done and dusted! Hope you enjoyed the sunshine. At least there are only four days until the weekend again!

More importantly, there are only four days until the Investec Derby Festival – but more on that shortly.

Yesterday, Bank Holiday revellers were rewarded with three awesome winners; Allbarnone at 7/1, Buachaill Alainn 9/1 and Gabrial The Saint at 2/1!

It was an action-packed weekend and the Daily Stat Pack proved it’s worth again. This free resource really does pelt out the winners.

Saturday saw a 6/1 winner and an 8/1 third. Sunday was even better with a 3/1 winner, 9/2 winner and amazingly a 33/1 third placed.

If you’ve not checked out the Daily Stat Pack yet, you need to head over there now and check it out!

All that awesome goodness for free! Whilst you’re over at our blog don’t forget to check out the free tip from one of our guest tipsters.

We pick the best tipsters out there and offer you a free tip from their daily advice.  You can check out today’s free tip here.

In just four days we see the second leg of the Triple Crown, sometimes referred to as the Blue Riband.

It’s the one and only The Derby.

The Derby has been running since 1780. That makes it 238 years old! Amazing. That also means that there are plenty of stats and trends to sift through when analysing the races.

Have a look at some of these

Price – 4 of the last 12 winners were favourite/joint-favourite, 11 of the last 12 winners have been in the top 3 in the betting

Last Run – 10/12 winners ran in the last 35 days or less, 7/12 winners won on their last start
before The Derby, 12/12 winners at least placed on their last run before The Derby

Previous Course Form – None of the last 12 winners had run or a win at Epsom before

Previous Distance Form – 1 of the last 12 winners had run over 12f before, 1/12 winners had at least 1 previous win over 12 furlongs

Previous Flat Form – 10/12 winners had at least 3 flat runs, 10/12 winners had at least 2 wins on the flat

Rating – 11/12 winners were rated 109 or higher

Group Wins – 10/12 winners had at least 1 win in a group race (1-3)

Season Form – 12/12 winners had either 1 or 2 runs that season, 7/12 had at least 1 win that season

Where do we start?

Does the current favourite, Saxon Warrior, fall into all of those categories?

We can tell you that we have just the man for the job, John Burke. He has spent the last few weeks going through all of the stats and trends for the meeting. He has written an awesome guide to help you narrow down the horses running over the two day Investec Derby Festival. Following that, he will send out his personal selections on each morning of the Festival, to tell you exactly which horses to back.

Check your emails on Thursday – that’s when John’s amazing Investec Derby Guide will be available. Look out for the email on Thursday with the subject line:

“Get Your INVESTEC DERBY FESTIVAL GUIDE now…”

The last time we let John loose at a festival he made an impressive 20 points. That’s a very neat £200 to £10 stakes.

You can check out the selections he made here.

The Investec Derby Festival is one not to be missed.
