I watched the video you did about the Racing Dossier with interest. You showed how it worked quite clearly but made no comment as to whether it was a useful piece of software or not. Obviously it will depend on the quality of human input of information. Your video was published almost two years ago so has anything chnaged and is it worth trying?
Hi David, thank you for the comment. We find it useful, and use it every day. How much benefit you get is directly related to how much effort you put into figuring out which ratings are best for you and your race conditions, we do help with that however. Regarding the input of information, there is no human input and that minimises errors, the raw data is provided by the Racing Post and the ratings are calculated using scripts that take thousands of lines of code. More ratings have been added since the video was made. If you’ve got any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
